To do a retest, you must show me that you have worked on practising the material.  The "tickets" for the restests are below.  Complete the "ticket" on separate sheets of paper to hand in:
Chapter 3 Quadratic Functions: p. 201 #1-11, 14, 15 (for 15, pick your own origin)
Chapter 4 Quadratic Equations: p. 258 #1, 6-9, 13, 14 odd, 15, p. 262 #14
Chapters 8&9 Systems of Equations and Inequalities: p. 457 #2, 3, 8, 10, p. 459 #4, 5
Chapter 5 Radical Expressions & Equations: Do Chapter 5 Review package from bcmath

About Retests

  • - There are a total of 8 unit tests.  There is no time for a final exam.
  • - You may take up to 3 retests.  Note that a retest may be harder than the original test.
  • - It is recommended that you "save" one of your retests for the Trigonometry Chapter, which is towards the end of the semester.
  • - "Ticket" to retest:  To show that you have worked to prepare for the retest, you must submit the following:
  •      For Chapter 3: do Practice Test, p. 201 #1-11, 14, 15 (choose your own origin and solve)
  •      For Chapter 4: do p. 258 #1, 6-9, 13, 14 odd, 15, p. 262 #14.
  • - Retest day for April: Thursday, April 16 after school.  If you retest on this day, your marks will be updated in time for the next report card.  There will be other retest days after the report card.
