Ms. Kamber is a Math Teacher who agrees with researchers that intelligence is not fixed and that we all can achieve success in math. She has worked as a computer scientist, textbook author, Orton-Gillingham tutor (for dyslexia) and in Learning Support, music, and brain imaging research. Her first job was selling burgers at McDonalds.

It's an international competition that gets girls into coding. I will be coaching teams again this year. If you think you might be interested, come and talk to me!

Because of COVID-19, we are asked to maintain a social distance of 2 m (or 6 feet) to be safe. This video explores ways to think of 2 m using everyday objects and estimation. "Travel" around the world to see what other countries are using to represent 2 m. Take the Social Distancing Estimation Challenge - an activity to do at home for students (elementary and secondary) and their families! An example of one student's response to the challenge is here.
